Welcome to our page! At St. Mary’s, we believe education is about inspiring and empowering individuals to become lifelong animated learners.

Through hands-on workshops exploring art, music, dance, traditional games and Caring for Country, students deepened their understanding of the world’s oldest living cultures. We are grateful for this valuable learning opportunity and for the work of Darebin Council in supporting our students to become informed, respectful and compassionate young people! #stmarys #darebinschools #yarningconference #NAIDOC
What a wonderful day last weekend celebrating our What a wonderful day last weekend celebrating our community at the Rossmoyne Rummage & Scarecrow Festival! 🌻 It was fantastic to see three levels of government come together to show their support for St Mary’s Primary School and our involvement in this year’s Rossmoyne Rummage festivities. A heartfelt thank you to Ged Kearney MP, Federal Member for Cooper, Kat Theophanous MP, State Member for Northcote, and Emily Dimitriadis, Mayor of Darebin, for taking the time to join us. It means so much for our students and school community to see our local leaders showing up and celebrating alongside us 💛 #stmarysthornbury #rossmoynerummage #thornbury #communityevents
When teachers grow, students thrive! ✨📚 This year When teachers grow, students thrive! ✨📚 This year our team participated in the Bronwyn Ryrie Jones Playbook Project, collaborating to identify and refine evidence-informed teaching strategies that make a real difference in the classroom. 📖 The Playbook brings together effective teaching techniques and a shared language for teaching, helping us build consistency, strengthen our practice and create meaningful learning experiences for every student. 💡 By investing in our professional growth, we’re working towards deeper learning, more responsive teaching and improved outcomes for all students. #stmarysprimaryschool #bronryriejones #playbookproject #darebinschools #playbookproject26
